Solomon is the extremely talented source of energy that holds THE PLATINUMSMITH SONGWRITERS together. He is already a veteran performer. For his generation, he is a musical anomaly. His rich background in orchestra, piano, and vocal training empower him with a unique skill set. As you listen to his performances on the bands first project; “UNIVERSAL LOVE” you will probably detect that there is also a jazz influence at work in his musical DNA.
At the age of 18, Solomon produced each and every track on the bands first project. Solomon’s father has this to say about him, “I am extremely proud and somewhat in awe of Solomon. He is an innovator, not a follower, and a musical purist. Not only is he a great musician and performer, but his ability to hear, remember, incorporate, and utilize sounds are astounding.”
Solomon describes himself as a “seasoned musician in both the classical and popular worlds. As an avid pianist, I apply my training to create new and innovative sounds for our band. Whether performing live or in the studio, my aim is to forge the best sound possible, by blending several elements from various influences.” Solomon shares that he has been inspired by Ray Charles, Leon Russell and Stevie Wonder.
After graduating from The Cobb County Center for the Excellence in the Performing Arts, (CCCEPA) at Pebblebrook High School in Mableton, Georgia, Solomon enrolled as student at Middle Tennessee State University and is a part of their prestigious Recording Industry Program. He graduated with a B.S. in Audio Production in May 2016.
